OUR VISION
Just as farmers carefully sow seeds in their fields...
Central Christian Academy has been planting seeds of faith in students since its inception in 1994. To fulfill our missional vision of nurturing the next generation to be the salt and light of the world, we work closely with both the parents and the church to ensure that our students' physical, mental, and spiritual growth does not stop when the school is out or when they go home.
Moreover, with a curriculum focused on discipleship, relationship building, and developing spiritual gifts, we equip students with lessons that will shape them for the rest of their lives.
OUR FAITH
Doctrinal Statement
1. God
We believe that one triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are co-equal in power and glory, identical in their essential nature, attributes, and perfections and that they are co-eternal. In His essential nature, God is spirit as opposed to material. In His essential character, God is love.
2. Bible
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are fully inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing. They are supreme and the final authority for faith and life.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ as truly God and truly man. Being the eternal son of God, he became a man. He died a vicarious death, had a bodily resurrection and has promised a second coming. He died a substitutionary death upon the cross, thereby making atonement for the sins of the world. We believe that He is the only Redeemer and that His atonement is sufficient for the sins of all the world and efficient for all who believe.
4. Man
Man created in the image of God, fell into disobedience through the sin of the first Adam, and as a result is lost and separated from God. In order to secure salvation and restoration, man must be born again. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness...” 1 Peter 2:24.
5. Church
The church is the body of Christ, a spiritual organism composed of all born-again persons in this present age. The mission of the church is to witness concerning the Head, Jesus Christ, and to preach the gospel among all nations. The Church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air prior to his appearing to set up His kingdom.
OUR HISTORY
In 1959, Pastor Billy Kim and his wife Trudy arrived in Korea to serve as missionaries. Pastor Kim became the Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Suwon.
In 1978, Trudy Kim established a kindergarten that quickly gained popularity within the community. As the school grew, so did the vision for expanding educational opportunities for children. Through years of dedicated work, God blessed the Kim family with the founding of Central Christian Academy in 1994, starting with grades 4-6.
Today, CCA offers a comprehensive education from Kindergarten to High School, reaching students from all walks of life.
